Chuck Donald
Art Director and Senior Designer

Chuck’s publishing career spans 26 years. He worked as Associate Art Director and Design Director for Sacramento Magazine from 1982-1992, Creative Director for Tower Records’ Pulse Magazine from 1999-2002, and currently owns his own design firm in the Sacramento area. His book design skills have garnered numerous accolades and awards, including Finalist in the 2006 Book of the Year Awards (ForeWord Magazine), the Best Arts & Crafts Book Award for 2006 (USA Book News) for the title Snow Painting, and a design citation from the Benjamin Franklin Awards, judged for his beautiful, intelligent approach to interior book design.

Chuck is affiliated with PDG as a contract-partner. He has been integrally involved in the conceptual and design stages of many of the more complex projects. In 2002, he spearheaded PDG’s launch of the magazine Tea Room Guide & Digest—a highly acclaimed publication with international appeal.

Chuck holds a degree in Graphic Design and graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA.
